~ At Goodnews Education Centre, our commitment to Christ-centered education is defined by a single, powerful mandate: "Let the little children come to me..." (Matthew 19:14). We believe this call is especially urgent for those on the margins.
Our programs are specifically designed to break down barriers of geography and poverty, bringing the light of quality education and the hope of the Gospel to rural and less privileged children.~ Uganda has one of the youngest populations in the world. More than half of its 37 million people are children – which provides exciting potential for a dynamic future.
Our mission:
Integrated discipleship and mentorship with teachers who understand their unique cultural context. Students learn to see God's hand in their rural surroundings—from the science of the soil to the community's interdependence.
Target Beneficiaries:
Children from low-income farming families and remote villages with limited school access.
